Full Original Re-Roof

For this impressive project, we were entrusted with a full re-roof, carefully reusing as many of the original tiles as possible. The scope of work also included overhauling the chimneys, applying new render, and undertaking a comprehensive renovation of the entire property. This included custom-built beds, the installation of new bathroom suites complete with tiling, and extensive painting throughout, all completed to the highest standard in preparation for the client's move-in. Every aspect of the work was carried out by our talented in-house tradespeople, ensuring exceptional results.
Oak Cladded Garage
This was a highly rewarding project completed for a returning client with whom we've had the pleasure of working on several previous projects. Without the benefit of formal drawings, we collaborated closely with our client to design and construct a stunning oak-framed, oak-clad garage, finished with clay tiles and complemented by the reinstatement of the existing tile hanging. Our in-house carpenter custom-built the doors to perfectly match the design.
In addition to the garage, we undertook various other tasks across the farm to ensure everything was functioning seamlessly. These included installing hardstands for the horses, fitting new water troughs, clearing drains, and installing new water mains, which were connected to an existing patio.

Extension Corrections

We were brought in after the original contractors failed to meet expectations. Our work involved a range of complex tasks, including installing steel supports (including a 4.5-ton main beam) to reinforce the entire rear of the property, correcting improperly dug foundations, and completing high-quality brickwork. Additionally, we were responsible for pitching the roof and weatherproofing the structure, preparing it for the next phase of construction. While we typically manage projects from start to finish, we are also able to correct badly built or unsafe buildings.
New Driveway
The client wanted to create a clear border between the drive and garden while achieving a fresh, updated look for the driveway on a minimal budget. Our goal was to ensure the new design complemented the property's character. We suggested using granite setts for the borders, paired with fresh shingle. The granite not only aligned with the property's style but also helped contain the shingle, preventing it from spilling into the garden or road. Additionally, we widened the original tight entrance. The work involved digging out and bedding the setts, backfilling with soil, and planting 150 daffodil bulbs in the process. After scrapping the existing drive, we finished with a fresh layer of shingle. We're excited to see how it all comes together in spring!
